Our own engineers design our ECOSAFE 100% composite or hybrid pedestrian and vehicular bridges using Eurocode 1: NEN-EN 1991-2/NB, NEN 6788, NEN 6723, NEN 6702, NEN 6706, the Dutch design code CUR 96 and the Hivoss document RFS2-CT-2007-00033 (about comfort classes of pedestrian bridges). We have available a design tool to generate, with a push on the button, an ECOSAFE bridge for given loads and dimensions. If needed we can analyse a bridge with FEA (finite elemente analysis) for all the listed load cases. Additionally we can test a bridge according to the same listed load cases including an eigenfrequency measurement and a creep measurement.

Our ECOSAFE hybrid bridges VH100 and VH200 consist of steel girders (zinc plated and epoxy coated; flat or arched) with a sandwich deck (ECOSAFE VD100 or VD200 for example) mounted with screws or an adhesive. The deck contributes to the overall stiffness of the bridge leading to better efficiency. We have (stainless) steel parapets available.

ECOSAFE A, arched bridge, 100% composite, in Moscow, Russian Federation ApATeCh Ltd and Infra Composites B.V. co-operated for the structural design, FE analysis and the production technology (vacuum infusion) of this 100% composite bridge. The bridge is 22.6 by 2.8 meter. The parapets are composite and translucent; they are illuminated at night.
